A few weeks ago, Yvonne and Otis Royster stopped by Little Caesars Pizza to pick-up 12 pizzas for the Bingo Party at McGuire Veterans Hospital. Ms. Royster had six pizzas stacked in hand when passing a car with three teenagers. She was surprised when one of the boys offered to help. She says the young man jumped out of the car and carried the six pizzas to her truck and went back inside to carry the other six pizzas out for her husband. The young man was Anthony Parker. Ms. Royster took to social media to praise Mr. Parker for his random act of kindness.
Of the event she said: “Amazing! There are some really good, caring, kind, respectful teenagers in this world and his parents are raising a good son.”
The picture spread quickly with 75 likes, 30 comments and 21 shares on Facebook. Eventually, the picture got back to the young man’s mother. She reached out to thank Mrs. Royster for her praise and thanked her for letting the world know there are still young men in this world being raised with respect.
Parker is a rising freshman at Huguenot High School and an active member of Fountain of Deliverance Outreach Ministries.
