INTERESTED IN JOINING the Junior Federated Women’s Club of Chester? They are having a Prospective Member get together this Sunday, from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. Email Katie Burkhardt at [email protected] with any questions and address to the meeting. The JFWCC is a non-profit, 501(c)3 volunteer organization of women whose purpose is to provide members with opportunities to serve the Chester community. The club promotes interest in the arts, conservation, education, home life, international outreach, and public issues. It is a great way to get involved in our community. They would love to have you!

MEET THE TREES HIKE. Pocahontas State Park boat dock. 2:30 p.m. Starting at the footbridge by the boat dock, join staff in a 2.25 mile guided hike through the forest exploration trail. Learn about the different types of trees. Weather permitting. The park has events scheduled throughout the day each week this summer.
