Trompeta was inducted into the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) as a rising sophomore where she became the public relations officer, and then was voted in as President the following year. She currently serves as Vice President of the honor society. Trompeta is pursuing college next year and will continue to be involved in the arts for many years.

“L.C. Bird High school’s Visual Arts Department encourages the student body to do their very best, to be tolerant of other people’s differences and to be observant of life through an artist eye,” said Kimberly Gianopoulos, known as Mrs. Gia within the L. C. Bird community. “Olivia is one of those students that is always is determined to do her best, to be optimistic and encourages others to do their best too. She has held many officer positions in our NAHS and is now taking an Honors Art 4 art class. I am so proud of her accomplishments and I look forward to seeing what wonderful art pieces she creates this year.”
