Bike, trail planners to hold series of meetings on proposed routes

The Bike & Trail plan was considered this week by the Chesterfield Planning Commission. There are currently 40 miles of bikeways and trails on the ground today, with an additional eight miles of projects currently underway and 28 miles would be added to the network over the next 10 years (figures according to the draft plan).

The Board of Supervisors will be holding a series of community meetings before their public hearing scheduled for November 18 starting at 6:30 p.m. to ascertain that citizen are on board with the project while getting additional input.
