The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to identify and locate a shoplifting suspect in this week’s Crime of the Week.

Just after 10 a.m. on Dec. 11, a black male entered the Walmart in Chattanooga Plaza and immediately went to the electronics department. The man placed four 10-inch RCA tablets into a Walmart shopping bag, placed the shopping bag into a cart and walked out of the store without paying for the devices. Then, just after 11 a.m. on Dec. 16, the same man followed the same pattern of behavior, walking out with six additional RCA tablets.

This subject was described as a medium-complexioned black male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and 230 pounds. He had a bald or shaved head and a mustache and goatee. During the theft on Dec. 11, he was wearing a heavy, three-quarters-length winter coat, blue denim jeans and white tennis shoes. In both cases, he was seen leaving the parking lot in a white four-door sedan.

Pictures of the suspect can be seen by visiting the Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers website, www.crimesolvers.net.
