The Chester Station Camp No.1503, Sons of Confederate Veterans will celebrate Confederate History month in Virginia with a flag Ceremony on Saturday, April 9, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Confederate Monument on the historic 1917 Chesterfield Courthouse Green located at 10011 Iron Bridge Rd. Members and friends will place at the monument a miniature of the Second National flag inscribed with the name, rank and unit of their ancestor. The flags will be left in place for the duration of the month. Following the flag ceremony, a reception will be held at the Chesterfield Museum.
