ZIKA VIRUS INFORMATION – 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Meadowdale Library. Presented by the Virginia Department of Health.

BOARD OF SUPERVISOR’S MEETING – 3 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Public Meeting Room, 10001 Iron Bridge Rd. The public meeting for the afternoon session will begin at 3 p.m., break at 5 p.m. for dinner, and then resume at 6:30 p.m.

HOARDING AND THE VIRGINIA FAIR HOUSING LAW – 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Hoarding is among a few conditions and disorders that have been added and classified as disabilities under the Virginia Fair Housing law Housing providers and others need to be aware that those who are dealing with hoarding and other disabilities cannot be evicted or treated less favorably because of their hoarding tendencies. This program will help participants understand their rights and responsibilities under the Virginia Fair Housing law. THE ACOUSTIC CONCERT SERIES – 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Central Library. Free concert. Old Dominion Songsters will perform. This tribute to the Virginia Blues tradition visits rollicking house parties, city street corners and the tobacco sheds where the Piedmont fingerpicking style was forged.

BOATING SAFETY – 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Enon Library. Learn basics of safety on the water in this Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries overview.

MEADOWDALE LIBRARY SPRING CHESS TOURNAMENT – 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Meadowdale Library. The Virginia Scholastic Chess Association presents a K-12 Scholastic Chess Tournament with adult quads.
