Annual Harvest Festival October 31 celebrates 40 years

The House of Prayer will hold its annual Harvest Festival on Monday, October 31 from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on its 82-acre property at 10500 Newbys Bridge Rd. There will be hay rides, pony rides, inflatables, a pie and costume judging.

Lots of hotdogs, hamburgers, funnel cakes and Brunswick Stew. All food items are $1, $2 and $3. All games and rides are free. There is over 23-acres of parking for the event.
“This is the 40th year of providing a safe alternative to Halloween for the metro Richmond area,” said Jonathan Stells, Senior Pastor of the House of Prayer, “With all the mischief that goes on

Halloween night, we wanted to provide a safe place for families to come and have a good time together,we have had as many as 4,000 people in attendance at this event in past years, and we are expecting an equally as large crowd this year.” The Church invites the entire greater Richmond, Tri-City area to this 40th anniversary celebration.
