Students from Curtis Elementary collected used coats again this year to donate to Puritan Cleaners Coats for Kids. Juan Conde from WRIC-TV was there last Thursday to help cheer the students on as they brought the coats to the donation truck.
The school held a contest among the students for the classroom who collected the most donated coats. The school collected over 250 coats, with Mrs. Roinnel’s first grade classroom collecting the most. The students in that class got to hand deliver their coats to the donation truck and pose for a picture in front of the truck with their principal, Mrs. Pereira, and with Conde.
