CHESTERFIELD COUNTY – Police are searching for a male suspect who robbed a
woman at the Wells Fargo Bank at 7300 Jefferson Davis Highway around 9:30
a.m. Monday, April 23.
No one was injured during the robbery and no weapons were displayed.
Police said the suspect approached the female as she was entering the bank and
grabbed a bag that she was attempting to carry inside to conduct business. As the suspect
grabbed the bag he pushed the female aside, then ran south away from the bank. The
suspect is described as a slender black male in his 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall wearing a
jacket with multiple colored patches on it.
