The 28th Annual Crab Feast presented by the Home Builders Association of Southside Virginia will be held on Friday, Sept. 11, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at their pavilion on Corporate Road, South Prince George. Anyone interested in raising small ruminants (goats/sheep) for meat or dairy production can learn about state regulations governing small ruminant slaughter and processing during Small Ruminant Field Day. The skies were dark and gloomy, hinting at the threat of rain, but the mood of the Bensley community was like a blue sky. It was the 32nd annual National Night Out celebration and hundreds of members of the Bensley community turned out for the Aug. 4 event.
