CHESTERFIELD – Chesterfield County police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 6400 block of Lake Caroline Court at about 11:30 p.m. July 14. Police responded to a residence after a report of a disturbance with a weapon and located a man who had been shot. The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There was no suspect description available. Armed robbery Police are investigating an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store at 6501 Ironbridge Road that took place at about 11 p.m. Saturday, July 7. No one was injured during the incident. Police said a man entered the business, displayed a firearm, and demanded money from the clerk. Three-car crash The Chesterfield police are investigating a three-car vehicle crash that occurred in the 6500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway around 10:28 p.m. July 1. Police said a sedan was travelling northbound on Jefferson Davis Highway in the southbound travel lane when it was struck by a sport utility vehicle turning left onto Dundas Road. CHESTERFIELD – With the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, Chesterfield Police arrested Tia Nicole Peyton, 36, who allegedly struck a Chesterfield Police officer with a vehicle in the 6500 block of Brookshire Drive on June 22.
