Matoaca standouts Jacob Coleman and Troy Lewis both narrowed down their long recruiting lists this past week, each naming his top 8 schools at which he may play college football. Lewis, who now has 30 offers overall, has sliced things down to these schools: Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Harvard, Liberty, Navy, Old Dominion, UNC Charlotte, and Yale. At 6-3, 198 with excellent speed, Lewis is a bona fide Division I athlete. With a 3.9 grade point average, he initially attracted six Ivy League institutions, but two have made it through: Harvard and Yale. Lewis is a threat at both wide…

By Walter Scott Jr. Warriors standouts Troy Lewis and Jacob Coleman have gotten ink these days. They’ve seen a sharp uptick in their social media followings. Part of that social media is fans of the various colleges that have given them offers, stating their cases as to why each recruit should pick one school over the others.. Soon, we’ll find out which fan bases will be left out of the consideration both athletes have gotten over the past months. Lewis, a wide receiver and defensive back, reached 27 offers this week when Liberty University came calling. That’s 27 full scholarship…

Bird’s Troy Taylor, has taken off over the past week, and the organization has gained over 1,100 followers since the Twitter account was created May 24. The organization is looking to help streamline…
