The Woodland Pond swim team recently set new league medley relay records. The new 200-meter time is 2.00.34 and the 200-yard time is 1.46.10. From left, Ryan Polino, Campbell Garrett, Trey Gardiner and Kate Stanko. Polino does backstroke, Garrett the breaststroke, Gardiner the butterfly and Stanko the freestyle.

With school out for the summer and the weather forecasters predicting hotter and hazier days ahead, families can look to the Chester Recreational Association as a place to cool off and make new memories. 2020 U.S. Masters Swimming Summer National Championshi to be in Chesterfield SwimRVA will host the 2020 U.S. Masters Swimming Summer National Championship after successfully winning a bid for the competition.An estimated 1,200 of the nation’s best adult swimmers will compete in the August 2020 event, which will be held in SwimRVA’s Chesterfield County facility. This is the first time a U.S. Masters Swimming national competition will be held in Virginia.
