On September 13, Chester Baptist Church held an Operation Inasmuch event. Operation Inasmuch is a nonprofit organization that encourages churches to join a “Compassion Revolution.” Over 1,600 churches in 21 states have joined the Revolution.
The Chamber held their inaugural Craft Beer Festival at Westchester Commons on Saturday, September 13. In spite of the on-again off-again rain showers, there were a decent amount of beer lovers present. The VIP tent was hosted by Sedona Tap House.
More than 725 volunteers braved Saturday morning’s threatening skies and occasional showers to collect 458 garbage bags full of trash and 280 bags full of recyclable materials.
