11 Senior Idol finalists announced, finals Oct. 1

With 42 contestants in 32 acts auditioning, organizers of Chesterfield County and the Tri-Cities’ first Senior Idol competition found themselves with more talent than they planned, according to a press release from the Shepherd’s Center.

Shepherd’s Center announces judges for Senior Idol’s ‘Final 10’

Niki Swann, Ms. Wheelchair Virginia 2010, will serve as the celebrity judge for the final competition of the top 10 seniors seeking the title of “1st Senior Idol of Chesterfield County and the Tri-Cities,” according to information from the Shepherd’s Center of Chesterfield.
