Eleven residents of Chester have been named to the fall semester Dean’s List at Radford University.
Karea Bailey’s love of art began when she was just three years old. As she grew up, she eagerly explored that interest, becoming a skilled artist who works in a number of mediums, including photography, painting and drawing. Her artistic talents also include design, presentation, art restoration and singing.
Several Matoaca High art students were recently recognized by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and The Alliance for Young Artists and Writers their outstanding work and will receive Scholastic Art Awards.
