The winter weather didn’t stop Elizabeth Scott Elementary School Morning Running Club from training for the upcoming Run the Rocks 5K and Healthy Family Day. These determined, energetic students began meeting in February to train for the first annual Run the Rocks 5k race on Saturday, April 26, starting at the school to Point of Rocks Park and back.
Fourteen students from Ettrick Elementary School are participating in a program called “Girls on the Run.” The program is designed to develop healthy lifestyles and habits in girls and to support a healthy body image.
