Vendors sought for Senior Triad Day

Chesterfield TRIAD, in cooperation with Chesterfield County and the Senior Advocate’s office, is seeking vendors for their 13th Annual Senior Day, Celebrating America’s Everyday Heroes, on Wednesday, May 2 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Victory Tabernacle Church, 11700 Genito Road, Midlothian.

Reliving the Opechancanough Offensive

The Saturday morning rain last week may have dampened the living history program of the 1622 Opechancanough Offensive at Henricus Historical Park, but visitors still arrived to walk among the staff who dressed, talked and acted as if it was March 21, 1622, the eve of the day when Powhatan Indian warriors attacked and killed over 300 English colonists.

CCLL gets support from dealership on opening day

Central Chesterfield Little League celebrated their opening games at Harry G. Daniels Park at Ironbridge last Saturday. Special guests, Jay Burchell of Heritage Chevrolet and Congressman Randy Forbes joined over 2,000 young players and their families at the event to kick-off their spring season.
