Mom's mission

Patricia Burrow, a mom to four, is experiencing what only a few moms have been able to do: return to school alongside one of their children. Burrow, 55, and her youngest daughter, Dominique WestBurrow, 24, have been classmates at Virginia State University [VSU] in the career track of Sports Management.

Grant funding for historic Point of Rocks sought

Point of Rocks, not the park with athletic fields, but the original site of the Batte/Stratton House (eventually the Strachan House) is still a viable historic site today. The Point of Rocks site has been approved for purchase by the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors.
