Body of missing swimmer recovered

Chesterfield County’s police and fire departments have recovered the body of a man who was missing after swimming in the Appomattox River Sunday afternoon.

Police seek attempted robbery suspects

Police are seeking four men who attempted to rob four victims in the 3300 block of Meadowdale Boulevard on Friday, July 15.

No charges sought in infant death

After a thorough police investigation and consultation between the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office and police, the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office has determined it will not seek charges in relation to the June 29 death of a 6-month-old male.
