Sunset Memorial Park, a perpetual care cemetery and mausoleum in Chester, announces the start of construction of a long-planned expansion at its location at 2901 West Hundred Rd.

Ettrick/Matoaca Memorial Day service

Salem Church 12U softball team wins CYSA In-House Tournament

The final score was 11- 4. In the final two games, Salem Church played against two teams that were undefeated in the regular season.

Bitter-sweet Friday for two area teams

Two high school teams from our beloved, south-eastern nook of Chesterfield County advanced to the AAA division state championship Friday evening after losing in the final round of the Central Region tournament – the boys soccer team at Thomas Dale and Matoaca’s softball squad.
