County approves land purchase in Ettrick
0By a 4-0 vote with James Holland absent, the county board of supervisors last week approved the purchase of a 1.75-acre parcel in Ettrick to support a new elementary school and fire station. The purchase price of $20,000 represented the assessed value of the land, according to the county’s real property manager, John Harmon. The land will be purchased from Stallings Oil Co. HOPE Center gets help: Rehabilitation proceeding on campus of Chester ministry
