Police Blotter: September 30, 2009

VINTNER DR 9/09 Vinings at Ironbridge. Unknown suspect/s entered the apartment through an open rear door and removed property from inside.

BARKWOOD CT 9/10 Mistwood Forest. Unlocked 2003 Nissan Sentra entered and the property was reported stolen. Vehicle was parked at the victim’s residence.

CHESTER FOREST LN 9/10 Treemont. GPS reported stolen from an unlocked green 2006 Ford Focus. Vehicle was parked at the victim’s residence.

LIBERTY WY 9/10 Capitol One. Silver 2005 Honda Civic reported stolen.

OAK LAWN ST 9/10 Crescent Park. During another investigation, the officer developed information that the suspect gained entry to the residence.

PIELS RD 9/10 Treemont. Property reported stolen from an unlocked blue 2000 Toyota Camry. Vehicle was parked in the victim’s driveway.

CHESTER RD 9/11 License plates were stolen from victim’s vehicle.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 9/11 AT&T Wireless. Unknown suspect/s pried the rear door open to a vacant business. Suspect/s then cut a hole in the drywall that allowed them access to the business. Property was taken from the business.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 9/11 Bermuda Square Shopping Center. Victim reported the property stolen from his green Ford Ranger.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 9/11 K-Mart. Property reported stolen from victim’s locked 2001 Dodge Caravan.

KRAUSE RD 9/11 Courthouse Commons. Inspection sticker reported stolen from an unlocked 1990 Mazda.

MARINA DR 9/11 Falling Creek Apartments. Victim’s Ford Explorer was found fully engulfed in flames.

MARQUETTE RD 9/11 Meadowbrook. Rear license plate reported stolen from victim’s vehicle. Vehicle was parked at the victim’s residence.

OKEHAMPTON DR 9/11 Kimberly Acres. GPS reported stolen from victim’s 2003 Mazda.

TELSTAR DR 9/11 Chesswood. Suspect/s gained entry to the residence through the front door, possibly using a hidden key. The interior of the house was vandalized by the suspect/s.

W HUNDRED RD 9/11 Thomas Dale High School. Property was reported stolen from a blue 2005 Nissan.

AUTUMN POINT DR 9/12 Stonebridge. Vacant house broken into through the front window and the interior vandalized.

DOTTIE DR 9/12 Greenleigh Mobile Homes. Unlocked white Chevrolet Tahoe entered and the property reported stolen. The vehicle was parked in the victim’s driveway.

DRAYTON RD 9/12 Chipchase. Unknown suspect/s attempted to steal the victim’s property from his blue Jeep Wrangler.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 9/12 Suspect 1 and victims were at the location in order for the suspect to purchase an item the victims had posted for sale over the internet. While there, suspect 3, posing as a police officer, drove up and told the victims to exit their vehicle. While suspect 3 spoke to the victims, another vehicle with suspect 2 entered the storage lot. The victims then observed their vehicle exiting the lot, followed closely by the vehicle that had just pulled in. Suspect 3 then ran to his vehicle and drove off.

LARRYVALE DR 9/12 Greenleigh Mobile Homes. Front license plate reported stolen from victim’s 1980 Cadillac Fleetwood. Vehicle was parked in victim’s driveway.

MILSMITH RD 9/12 Victoria Hills. The rear door glass was broken out and entry made to the residence.

RUFFIN MILL RD 9/12 Unknown suspect/s entered an unlocked detached garage and took property.

SALEM OAKS PL 9/12 Salem Oaks. Unknown suspect/s attempted to gain entry to the residence through two rear windows, where pry marks were found.

AUTUMN POINT DR 9/13 Stonebridge. Suspect/s gained entry to the vacant residence, which is currently for sale, through a front window.

BEN FRY DR 9/13 Hyde Park Apartments. Entry gained to the victim’s apartment, possibly through the front door; however, there were no signs of forced entry found. Property was stolen.

FORE CR 9/13 Courthouse Seniors Apartments. Multiple unlocked vehicles were entered and the property was reported stolen.

HERITAGE DR 9/13 Front door of the residence was forced open and several weapons were taken from different locations throughout the residence. The victims saw the suspect jump out of a rear bedroom window as they returned to the residence.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 9/13 Chester Maisonettes. Front door of the vacant apartment kicked open and property stolen from inside.

LUCKYLEE CRESCENT 9/13 Meadowdale Townhouses. Property reported stolen from victim’s white 2000 Mercury Mountaineer. Vehicle was parked at the victim’s residence.

W HUNDRED RD 9/13 Gibraltar Contracting. Property stolen from the back of a work truck at the construction site.

BURNT OAK DR 9/14 Ivywalk Apartments. Rear door pried at residence and laptop stolen from inside.

CALDWELL AVE 9/14 Grindall Creek Park. Entry gained to the residence through the rear door, where fresh pry marks were found. Property was stolen from inside.

GOOLSBY AVE 9/14 Unknown suspect/s gained entry to the residence through an unlocked rear sliding door and removed property from inside the residence.

GRAVELBROOK DR 9/14 Gravelbrook Farm. Unknown suspect/s gained entry through an unlocked rear window and stole items from inside.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 9/14 Falling Creek Apartments. Unknown suspect/s gained entry into the apartment through a locked rear sliding glass door. No signs of force were found.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 9/14 Port Walthall Shopping center. Unknown suspect stole both license plates from the van.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 9/14 Salem Primitive Baptist Church. Property stolen form the construction site.

MEADOWDALE BL 9/14 Regency Lake Apartments. Entry was gained to victim’s unlocked black Chevy Monte Carlo and items were stolen.

ROLLING BROOK RD 9/14 Fan Court. Suspect/s broke a window pane on the side door of the residence, which caused the dogs inside to start barking. This possibly scared off the suspects before they could gain entry into the residence.

ALFALFA LN 9/15 Bellwood Maisonette Apartments. Suspect/s ripped a rear window screen out, then opened the window in order to gain entry to the apartment. Property was stolen.

EAGLE POINT RD 9/15 Chipchase. Complainant reported the rearview mirror was stolen from his parent’s unlocked vehicle.

HUSTING TR 9/15 Holly Trace. Two unlocked vehicles were entered and the property was reported stolen. The vehicles were parked in the victim’s driveway.

KWANTRE PARK AVE 9/15 Winchester Green Apartments. Locked maroon 2004 Chrysler entered and the property was reported stolen. Vehicle was parked in front of the victim’s apartment.

LEISURE LN 9/15 The Park. Locked 1996 Honda Accord entered and the property was reported stolen. The vehicle was parked at the victim’s residence.

PIEDMONT AVE 9/15 Property was stolen from the front yard of the rental property.

STANLEY DR 9/15 Meadow Ridge. Black 1996 Chevrolet Blazer reported stolen.

ECOFF AVE 9/16 Chester. Property removed from unlocked garage.

MEADOWDALE BL 9/17 Regency Lake Apartments. While victim was out of town, unknown suspect/s entered, possibly through a front window that could not be secured, and rummaged through the interior, taking the property.
BONNIE BRAE RD 9/18 Meadowbrook. Victim reported fuel was stolen from his 1989 Ford F150, which was parked at his residence.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 9/18 K-Mart. Car stereo reported stolen from a 1999 Ford Explorer.

PAMS AVE 9/18 Victim returned home to find the door handle on his front door turned upward, two of his fence gates open, and the exterior door to his basement open. Unknown if entry was gained, as nothing inside the basement appeared missing or disturbed.

PEMBROKE ST 9/18 DuPont Square. Property reported stolen from victim’s silver 2005 Jeep Liberty, which was parked at her residence.

PLUM CT 9/18 Chesswood. Property reported stolen from victim’s unlocked vehicle, which was parked at her residence.

WEIR PL 9/18 Rite Aid. Victim advised he had picked up the unknown suspect in Colonial Heights. During the drive, the suspect raised his shirt to show the victim a handgun in his waistband and told the victim that he needed to do him a favor. Arriving at the location, the suspect exited the victim’s vehicle, went inside the store, and stole an item. As employees exited the store, the suspect threw the item down and ran off, leaving the victim at his car.

DORIUS DR 9/19 King’s Forest. Victim reports that during the overnight hours, suspect/s entered his unlocked shed, but did not take anything. Suspect/s did take several potted plants from the garden.

MARINA DR 9/19 Falling Creek Apartments. Victim observed the suspect vandalize her vehicle and rummage through the center console. Upon checking, the victim discovered cash missing from the console.
