To the Editor:
If the Thomas Dale High School squad’s motto is “The mission of our JROTC program is To Motivate Young People to be Better Citizens.” then obviously they have failed.

I just watched their performance on YouTube and the cadence they were calling out was disgusting and offensive to both adults and children.

Obviously, they had no regard for the children at the parade nor for the school. This is a excellent example why people shake their heads over education and teachers.
Surely the faculty adviser or the school administration should have prevented this behavior.
