Budget and capital improvement plan
The Chesterfield County School Board has scheduled meetings related to the FY 2014 budget and the capital improvement plan:

• Feb. 5 — budget work session at 4 p.m. in boardroom of the School Administration Building, 9900 Krause Rd.
• Feb. 12 — public hearings starting at 6:30 p.m. in the public meeting room, 10001 Iron Bridge Rd., on the capital improvement plan and on the FY 2014 budget
• Feb. 26 — School Board scheduled to vote on budget during a 6:30 p.m. meeting in the public meeting room, 10001 Iron Bridge Rd.

Change in location
The location of the Chesterfield County School Board’s retreat has changed. The School Board will now meet 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Jan. 29 in the Castleberry Room of the Country Club at the Highlands, 8136 Highland Glen Dr., Chesterfield, VA 23838.
