SPC Phillips gains military honors

SPC Stephen C. Phillips, a 2003 graduate of L.C.Bird High School, receives the Army Achievement Medal and the Army Commendation Medal for services rendered in Afghanistan. He is completing a nine-month deployment and is currently in transit, headed for Fort Riley, Kansas. Family and friends await his post deployment leave in April.
