Police have arrested a man in connection with a robbery that occurred on Monday, Feb. 25.
Just before noon on Monday, a man entered Car Stop, 7431 Jefferson Davis Highway, brandishing a handgun. The suspect confronted cashiers with the weapon and took cash before fleeing on foot.
Police responded and tracked the suspect to a residence in the 2500 block of Alcott Road, where he was apprehended. The suspect, Na P. Chhim, 28, was arrested and charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Chhim, of the 2500 block of Alcott Road, was being held without bond in the Chesterfield County Jail pending a hearing in Chesterfield County General District Court this morning.
