Credit card fraud

The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program wants to help the Colonial Heights Police Department solve a credit card fraud case.

Just before 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, a man went into the Best Buy at 725 Southpark Boulevard and purchased an iPad Mini with a credit card.  It was later discovered that the credit card, or the credit card number, had been stolen and the victim was unaware of the theft.

The suspect is a black male in his mid 30s. He had a light beard and a tattoo on his right forearm.  He wore a yellow or orange T-shirt, blue or purple shorts and black and white athletic shoes. For pictures of the suspect, please visit www.crimesolvers.net and click on the “Crime of the Week” link.
