POLICE ARREST MAN IN LITTLE RIDGE COURT ARSON

The Chesterfield County Police Department has arrested and charged a man who set two fires at his residence in the 7800 block of Little Ridge Court on Friday, March 15.

At about 4:30 a.m. on March 15, police were called to a residence in the 7800 block of Little Ridge Court where it was reported that a car and a porch were on fire. Both fires were extinguished and no one was injured. A racial slur was also painted on the house. Allegations of Civil Rights violations, specifically claims of a Hate Crime, are serious matters, and the FBI assisted the Chesterfield County Police Department in its investigation of the incident.

On Tuesday, April 2, Chesterfield police arrested , who lives at the residence, on two felony arson charges. Police believe Cuthrell, 41, set the fires and painted the racial slur on the residence.

Cuthrell is being held without bond at the Chesterfield County Jail pending a hearing in Chesterfield County General District Court on April 17.
