Police Blotter: May 12, 2010

MARTINGALE RD 4/28 Colonial Ridge Apartments. A locked black 2004 Camry was stolen from a parking lot.

OCTOBER RD 4/29 Garland Heights. Entry to the residence was forced through a basement door, where a glass pane was found broken out. Property was stolen.

SANDWAVE RD 4/29 Somerset. Suspect/s entered the residence through an unlocked front door and removed property from inside.

MATOACA RD 4/29 Victims returned to the residence and discovered that unknown suspect/s had entered the residence through a basement door and stolen a set of keys. The suspects used the keys to enter a vehicle outside the residence and removed items from it.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 4/29 Wiley’s Trailer Park. Unknown suspect/s entered the victim’s storage container and stole several drums of copper from inside.

HOPKINS RD 4/29 Beulah Methodist Church. Unknown suspect/s pried open the concession stand outside of the church. Property was stolen.

COURTHOUSE RD 4/29 County Fairgrounds. Unknown suspect/s entered a storage trailer at the fairgrounds. The lock was removed from the trailer.

BRIGHTWOOD AVE 4/29 Hoffman Communications. Unknown suspect/s kicked out fence boards in order to gain access to the cell towers and gain copper.

HIDDEN ARBOR PL 4/30 Arbor Landing. An unlocked silver 2010 Toyota Prius was entered and property was reported stolen.

WHITEPINE RD 4/29 An unlocked 2002 Honda Odyssey was entered and property was reported stolen.

COMMONS PZ 4/29 Courthouse Commons S.C. License plates were reported stolen from the victim’s 2006 Pontiac Torrent.

CAMERON AVE 5/02 Morrisdale. A suspicious fire was discovered in the woods in the area.

HOPKINS RD 4/30 Beulah Methodist Church. Suspect attempted to pry and burn the door to the concession stand behind the church. No entry was made.

ARBOR VIEW TR 4/30 Arbor Landing. An unlocked gold Hyundai Santa Fe was entered and property was reported stolen.

ARBOR HIGHLANDS 4/30 Arbor Landing. An unlocked 2000 Honda Odyssey was entered and property was reported stolen.

DRAYTON LANDING 4/30 Arbor Landing. Several unlocked vehicles were entered and miscellaneous property was reported stolen.

GADWELL LANDING 5/02 Arbor Landing. Two unlocked vehicles were entered and property was reported stolen.

VICTORIA ARBOR CT 5/03 Arbor Landing. Property was reported stolen from the victim’s vehicle.

ALCOTT RD 5/03 Huntwood Apartments. Property was reported stolen from the victim’s unlocked silver Toyota Tacoma.

BEECHNUT AVE 4/30 Beechnut Acres. Miscellaneous property was reported stolen from the victim’s unlocked burgundy 1996 Ford Mustang.

CHESTERFIELD AVE 5/01 Ettrick. Property was reported stolen from the victim’s locked maroon 2003 Honda Odyssey.

BUTLER LN 5/02 Holly Acres. An unlocked green 1996 Ford Explorer was entered and property was reported stolen.

HARROWGATE RD 5/02 Miscellaneous property was reported stolen from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.

DALEBROOK DR 5/02 A locked red 1985 Ford pickup was entered and miscellaneous property was reported stolen.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 5/01 Food Lion. Two victims reported their rear license plates were stolen from their vehicles.

SUNSET KNOLL RD 5/02 Ashton Woods North. Tires were reported stolen from the victim’s green Honda Accord.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 5/01 Young’s Trailer Park. A license plate was reported stolen from the victim’s 1998 Ford F150.

ROWANTY CT 5/01 Rowanty Court Apartments. License plates were reported stolen from the victim’s 2007 Forenza.

JULEP DR 5/01 Colonial Pine Estates. License plates were reported stolen from the victim’s 2001 Dodge Ram 1500.

HAMLIN DR 5/01 Glen Oaks. An unlocked white 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer was entered and property was reported stolen.

WALTHALL CENTER 4/30 Miscellaneous property was reported stolen from the victim’s 1994 Acura.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 5/02 Robert J. Norfleet Select Cars. An unknown suspect attempted to steal a locked green 1969 AMC. The suspect also entered two other vehicles, one of which was unlocked, and at this time nothing was reported stolen.

GREEN OAKS CT 5/01 Meadow Oaks. The victim was walking home when the suspect vehicle pulled up beside him. One of the passengers in the vehicle displayed a handgun and demanded his property. Once the victim handed over the items, the vehicle drove off.

LE MASTER RD 5/03 Miscellaneous property was stolen from the victim’s unlocked garage.

RIVER TERRACE RD 5/03 River Road Terrace Apartments. Unknown suspects appeared to have entered the apartment through the sliding glass door. Property was stolen from the residence.

KINGSLAND RD 5/04 Spencer’s Qwik Stop. Forcible entry to the store was attempted through the front door, where damage was discovered.

WILLIS RD 5/04 Country Inns & Suites. Suspect/s entered the victim’s trailer and removed property from inside.

GREEN CEDAR LN 5/03 Treemont. Property was removed from the victim’s unlocked pickup truck, which was parked in his driveway.

RUTLEDGE AVE 4/26 Orange Hill. Property was removed from an unlocked vehicle.

HOLLYWOOD DR 4/23 Chesterwood. Property was removed from the victim’s 1987 Jeep.

CARDWELL RD 5/02 The victim said he found the soft top on his 1994 BMW cut and the doors, which has been previously locked, now unlocked. The ignition had been damaged.

HYDE PARK DR 5/04 Hyde Park Apartments. Suspect/s entered the apartment through a front window, which was found partially open. Property was reported stolen.

COGBILL RD 5/03 Meadowbrook High School. Victim reported her wallet stolen from a county school bus.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 5/04 Food Lion. Property was reported stolen from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.

PINE GLADE LN 5/03 Treemont. Two unlocked vehicles were entered and property was reported stolen.

UPP ST 4/30 Henning Heights. The residence was entered through an open side window and property was stolen.

BERRYBROOK DR 5/05 Meadowdale. An unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and attempted to steal the vehicle’s faceplate. At this time, nothing was reported stolen.

THIRD AVE 5/05 Property was reported stolen from the victim’s unlocked 1999 Buick.
