Salem Church Middle School needs your vote

Vote for Salem Church Middle for VA Lottery’s $5,000 prize in school supplies.

Last May, Amber Kuper, an art teacher at Salem Middle School was honored and received the “2013 Virginia Lottery Super Teacher” award. She was one of eight teachers across the state to receive the award along with a $2,000 cash prize and $2,000 class room credit from The Supply Room Companies.   Virginia Lottery officials reported that in the fall, each of the eight schools where a winning teacher was honored would participate in a Facebook contest in which the public will vote for one of those schools to receive $5,000 in classroom supplies, also from The Supply Room Companies. The contest is well underway and will end this Friday, September 27.

Every school could use a $5,000 prize in classroom supplies, but only one school in Chesterfield County has the opportunity and that school that needs your vote is Salem Middle School .

Virginia Lottery’s communication manager, Jennifer Mullen said, “All you have to do is like us on Facebook, click on the promotion button that shows the Super Teacher logo (underneath the cover photo) and vote for your school once each day! Voting is open through Friday, September 27. Be sure to vote, vote, vote…and spread, spread, spread the word.” Here’s the link to check it out (you’ll need to be logged into your account first): https://www.facebook.com/#!/valottery/app_497326887003004

Do it today, tomorrow and the next. Vote for Amber Kuper and Salem Middle School and help them win the $5,000 prize in classroom supplies.
