Meadowbrook Country Club celebrates City Champions new Junior Golf Fund

An overflow crowd celebrated the past, present and future golf success at Meadowbrook Country Club on  November 22. The event was hosted by the Retired Associates of Meadowbrook Seniors (RAMS) to applaud guests of honor, Adam Ball and Lyberty Anderson for their success as reigning RGA and RWGA Champions.

Their wins marked, the first time since 1966, that both champions hailed from the same club. Despite their unprecedented success, these remarkable players are both young for their skill level. Adam has just begun his sophomore year at VCU, while Lyberty is in the midst of her senior year at Manchester High School. Lyberty will continue her education at the University of Virginia next fall.

Meadowbrook Country Club members and celebrities came to pay a tribute to the rising stars. Guests included Bobby Wadkins, John Rollins, Giff Breed of President of Pros Inc., and Lee Coble, VSGA President, who was the keynote speaker for the evening.

Dean Evans, PGA professional, presented awards to Adam and Lyberty to commemorate their successes. Each received an embroidered MCC flag, a framed Virginia Golfer magazine cover featuring the pair, and a framed collage which chronicled each of their golf histories.
