Police Blotter: May 26, 2010

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 5/15 Victim had instructed his driver to pull off the roadway so he could verify his product count for the day. As he stepped out of the van, he encountered the suspect who said the victim had struck him with the van door. The suspect then proceeded to assault the victim. Another subject with the suspect told him to stop. Both individuals then left.

HUNTINGCREEK DR 5/13 Huntingcreek Hills. The residence was entered through an unlocked door and property was stolen from inside.

BELFIELD CR 5/15 Brentwood. A known suspect entered the residence through an unlocked door and removed miscellaneous items from inside.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 5/15 Worsham’s Trailer Park. Property from was removed from the victim’s trailer. The point of entry was unknown, but two windows were found to be unsecured.

SOUTH ST 5/16 A known suspect kicked in the front door to the residence of victim one, and assaulted victims two and three.

COGBILL RD 5/16 Meadowbrook High School. Unknown suspect/s entered the school, possibly through an unlocked door. Once inside, the suspect/s shattered the glass on several vending machines and took items from inside of them. Suspect/s attempted to enter several classrooms, but were unsuccessful.

LAUREL RD 5/16 Suspect/s pulled on the two wooden shutters on the service window to the concession stand, breaking the hinges. They then attempted to enter the interior by pulling on the metal shutter, but were unable to raise it.

ORIOLE AVE 5/15 Grindall Creek Park. Miscellaneous property was reported stolen from the victim’s unlocked van.

CHESTERFIELD 5/16 Chesterfield Meadows. Miscellaneous property was reported stolen from the victim’s locked 2003 Dodge. No signs of forced entry were noted.

CROFT CROSSING DR 5/15 Hollymeade. Two unlocked vehicles were entered and property was reported stolen.

GERMONT AVE 5/16 Bellwood Heights. An unlocked 1994 Acura was entered and miscellaneous property was reported stolen.

LIPPINGHAM DR 5/16 A 2010 Ford F150 was entered and property was reported stolen. No signs of forced entry were noted.

LIPPINGHAM DR 5/16 Miscellaneous property was reported stolen from an unlocked 2006 GMC Yukon.

MILHORN ST 5/15 Milhorn Tract. Property was reported stolen from the victim’s unlocked 2006 Buick Rendezvous.

HARROWGATE RD 5/15 The victim reported property stolen from her vehicle.

LOST FOREST DR 5/17 Lost Forest. An unlocked 1997 Honda Civic was entered and miscellaneous property was reported stolen.

GLEN OAKS DR 5/15 Glen Oaks. Miscellaneous property was reported stolen from the victim’s unlocked 2000 Dodge Intrepid.

BROADWATER WY 5/15 Broadwater Townhouses. The front license plate was reported stolen from the victim’s 1994 Chevrolet Caprice.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 5/15 Falling Creek Apartments. One of the victims claims they were robbed. Additional individuals involved in the report were arrested on other charges.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 5/16 The victim had just left a nearby club when the suspects approached and assaulted him, took property, and then ran off.

MAIN ST 5/17 The residence was entered by standing on the air conditioning unit and pushing up the rear kitchen window. Once inside, suspect/s removed property.

HARTWELL DR 5/17 Falling Creek Court. A lock was broken off the rear door to the victim’s unattached garage. A window on the garage was also found broken. Entry was not gained.

LIPPINGHAM CR 5/14 Items were removed from two unlocked vehicle parked in the victim’s driveway.

PEBBLESPRING DR 5/18 Watch Run. The residence was entered by throwing a brick through a rear basement window. Miscellaneous property was removed.

SUNBEAM RD 5/18 Edgewood. The residence was entered through the garage door, which may have been left unlocked. The interior of the home was ransacked and items were removed.

WOMACK RD 5/18 Property was removed from a vacant house, which was used mainly for storage. The rear door was found propped open.

CENTRAL AVE 5/16 Morrisdale. A vacant residence was entered via a rear window to the garage. Extensive vandalism was done to the interior.

MEADOWDALE BL 5.18 Meadowdale Townhouses. A locked 2002 Nissan was entered and property was reported stolen.

IRON BRIDGE RD 5/18 A locked green 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe was entered and, at this time, nothing was reported stolen.

BRENSPARK RD 5/19 Courthouse Woods. Miscellaneous property was reported stolen from the victim’s unlocked Chevrolet Trailblazer.

BLEST LN 5/18 Three locked vehicles were entered and miscellaneous property was reported stolen.

MARINA DR 5/18 Falling Creek Marina. Miscellaneous property was reported stolen from the victim’s two vehicles.

WILLIS RD 5/18 Ramada Inn – South. Miscellaneous property was reported stolen from the victim’s unlocked 1992 Honda Accord.

WILLIS RD 5/18 Bellwood Manor. A known suspect grabbed the victim’s arm, twisted it, and took her phone. The suspect was taken into custody shortly thereafter.

COGBILL RD 5/19 Property was stolen from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.

IRON BRIDGE RD 4/19 The victim was shopping in a store when an unknown suspect stole several credit cards from her unattended purse, which was in the shopping cart.

TAW ST 5/19 Family Dollar. The victim’s Ford Focus was stolen from the location. It was later recovered in Richmond.

LONGHOUSE LN 5/20 New Matoaca High School. A known suspect lit a fire in the school bathroom.

RIVER TERRACE RD 5/20 River Road Terrace Apartments. An unknown suspect kicked in the front door of the residence in order to enter. Nothing was taken from inside.

DOTTIE DR 5/20 Greenleigh Mobile Homes. An unknown suspect entered the residence through a rear window. The window was shattered out and then lifted up to gain entry. After entering through the bathroom window, the suspects then went through the house and removed property from inside.

BROADWATER WY 5/20 Broadwater Townhouses. The victim’s residence was entered by unknown means. The interior of the residence was disturbed and a point of exit was obvious at the rear of the residence. At the time of the report, it was unknown whether anything had been stolen.

HICKORY RD 5/20 Suspect/s forced entry to the residential shed and removed miscellaneous property from inside.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 5/20 Innovative Plumbing & Heating. Unknown suspect/s forced entry to two sheds on the property of the business and removed miscellaneous items from inside.

HOPKINS RD 5/21 An unlocked, green 1996 Ford Ranger was entered and, at this time, nothing was reported stolen.

DRAYTON LANDING 5/21 Arbor Landing. A 2006 Chevrolet was entered and, at this time, nothing was reported stolen.
