Hello and welcome back to the wonderful medical world of the Dogpound. As I have mentioned Max is getting old...uh…older…uh…older like me [Max you can let go of my pant leg now]. Max is on several meds for arthritis pain in his back and hips. He has one big pill and then there are two other smaller pills that he is supposed to take throughout the day. I was reading the label on one of them and it said that Max was to take 1-2 pills by mouth 2-3 times daily as needed. Hmmm? So how does one tell if your pet needs pills once twice or three times? Max does not like his pills…which is why I hide them in little blueberry muffins. Uh…nothing Max…go back to sleep. Just keep that last comment between us...ok? Got enough problems with Max taking his meds without a wrestling match. So I just give Max his pills three times a day and hope for the best. On the plus side, Max really likes blueberry muffins and he is not complaining. Grin
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
“You may not be able to read a doctor’s handwriting and prescription, but you’ll notice his bills are neatly typewritten.”
– Earl Wilson
Two guys sat down for lunch in the office cafeteria. “Hey, whatever happened to Pete in payroll?” one asked. “He got this hare brained notion he was going to build a new kind of car,” his coworker replied. “How was he going to do it?” “He took an engine from a Pontiac, tires from a Chevy, seats from a Lincoln, hubcaps from a Caddy and well, you get the idea.” “So what did he end up with?” “Ten years to life.”
Well, this is a tad short but the Winter blues have finally gotten to me. I am tired of this cold, wet, white and icy stuff. I think the bears have it nailed. Just sleep through it. As always, be good, play safe and remember Spring will get here…eventually.
