The Happiness Factory is opening in Chester at the end of March

Opening at the end of March 2014, The Happiness Factory, a place for people to gather to get much needed creative time.  The space is designed to fuel inspiration and help you find joy in creating.  It will offer a range of classes for the most novice crafter to the most experienced, and everything in between.  Take your pick of sewing classes, Make and Take crafts, painting classes, knitting lessons, Girls Night Out events, and even kids classes  plus much more. The space will even have open community craft hours, as well as space available for meetings, a small conference, or social gathering.

The Happiness Factory comes to Chester  through Maryellen Kim of Twist Style LLC and The Handmade Happiness Boutique located in Chester.  The Twist Style jewelry line is handmade in Chester and is sold in shops across the country.  The Handmade Happiness Boutique is a great place for lovers of handmades to come and purchase items from local and regional artists and crafters, but up until now there has not been a place where folks can actually be crafty and creative themselves.

If you are already a crafty person and would like to share your skills with others, The Happiness Factory is also looking for instructors.

Open House will be held on March 29 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  at 3601 West Hundred Rd. in Chester. Come and make some cool stuff, enjoy lemonade and cookies, and register for classes.

“This is a completely free event to welcome you to our new space,” said Kim, For more information visit www.happinessfactoryva.com.
