POLICE ARREST MAN WANTED IN FOOD LION ROBBERY

A man wanted in the March 26, 2014 robbery of the Food Lion located at 5702 Jefferson Davis Highway was arrested by Chesterfield County Police. 

        Police said at about 8:45 p.m. on March 26, 2014, a male suspect approached a store clerk at the Food Lion and threatened to harm her if she did not give him money from her register. The clerk left the counter to alert other employees. The suspect then forcibly removed the register drawer and fled the scene. Police conducted an investigation and were able to develop Timothy John Fagnani as a suspect in the robbery. Fagnani, 38, was arrested today at the Super 8 Motel located at 8260 Midlothian Turnpike and charged with one count of robbery.
