Bold thieves rob pharmacy of pain medicine in broad day light

The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help this week to catch some bold thieves.

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, the pharmacists at the K-Mart at 12810 Jefferson Davis Hwy. closed the pharmacy area just after noon. Though the door leading to the pharmacy was locked, two subjects broke into the room at approximately 1:45 p.m. and stole multiple prescription medications. Among the medications stolen were Hydromorphone, Oxycodone and Oxycontin.

Investigators know the time because surveillance cameras were working, and they captured images of the suspects. The video revealed that the suspects were both white males. Those images can be seen by visiting the “Crime of the Week” page of
