Police seek suspects who robbed Marketplace on Harrowgate

Police are searching for two suspects who robbed two people in the parking lot the Marketplace at 16025 Harrowgate Road at about 10:13 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22. No one was injured during the incident.

The victims, who own the business, had closed and locked the store and were preparing to leave just after 10 p.m. Tuesday. As the second victim was about to enter his vehicle, he was approached by two suspects who demanded money. One of the suspects was armed with what appeared to be a shotgun. The suspects took cash from the victim and cash belonging to the business before fleeing on foot.

The first suspect is described as a male, about 20-25 years old and 5 feet 11 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a ski mask, dark colored pants and white tennis shoes. This suspect displayed the firearm.

The second suspect is described as a male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing black clothing and a ski mask.
