Max will not rest

Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of the Dogpound at which time we are both apologetic and angry.  When we first started the development of the Dogpound, we promised you more transparency than ever before demonstrated by an article in this newspaper.  In keeping with that pledge we have to admit that there was a recent duplication of articles under two different headings but with the same body of work.  One article was titled Max and Sports…the other was Max considers Unionization.  I know, I know…you are scratching your head and wondering how this could be, but trust me when I say it did happen.  We want to apologize to our loyal pack readers and please be assured that I will not rest…correction…we will not rest till we have been able to blame someone other than us for this irresponsible act of journalism.   I want you to know that I am angry over this double issue, more angry than anyone else in this house at this very moment. If you could see my face right now you would know how angry I am and it is not a pretty picture.  To show you our solidarity with the pack readers, Max and I are going to sit here for the next hour with very serious pouty faces as we contemplate the results of these actions and who we can point the accusing finger at.  No, Max…we cannot blame President Bush… he has been out of office too long… and no we are not going to make this a political issue even though a Liberal or two might have had a hand in this.  Indeed, we are going to be steadfast in our daily effort to investigate this non-scandal until which time it is no longer news worthy and we can quietly move on to other things.  What, Max… when did I find out about this duplication?  I read it in the newspaper just like everyone else. Never did make Fox News. [HOT MIKE: What do you think Max?  Pretty good if I do say so myself.  I almost believed what I was saying.]

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
“Under democracy one party always devotes its chief energies to trying to prove that the other party is unfit to rule – and both commonly succeed, and are right.”         – H. L. Mencken

QUICKIES

  • I heard that the Administration has finally come up with the ideal candidate to help mediate the crisis between Russia and the Ukraine ...Yep...you guessed it...Dennis Rodman. We all can feel a bit safer now, or not!
  • On a following note...a recent survey showed that 84 percent of Americans were not able to locate Ukraine on the map. When Putin heard this, he commented, “This is easy to answer now...it is part of Russia.”

My mouth muscles are getting tired from pouting, so I better finish.  As always, be good, play safe, and always remember to make sure no one is recording you.

JR and Max
