Get your honky-tonk, Western swing on July 17

Andy Vaughan and The Driveline will play a free concert at Chester’s Village Green on Thursday, July 17 at 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The band has been playing original, authentic honky-tonk and Western swing music since forming in Richmond in 2010. They’ve played over 200 shows, including opening for the Little River Band at Hopewell’s Beacon Theatre last month. They recently released their third CD, “Sinners and Saints,” and are touring the Southeast to promote it.

Lead singer and guitarist Andy Vaughan is the group’s songwriter, and is supported by Chester resident Slim Stanton on steel guitar and accordion, Ray Fralin on lead guitar, Erik Kutzler on bass, and Chip Farnsworth on drums.

Last year Style Magazine named the Driveline the best country band in the Richmond region.
