Former Chesterfield student visits Ettrick Elementary

Justin Wootton, Corporate Senior Designer  and Visual Creative Director for Forever 21, visited students at Ettrick Elementary School to share his love of art.  Mr. Wootton is in charge of 575 stores located all over the world.  He draws the seasonal visual forecasting and interior design to give all the stores their unique design and attraction, and oversees many people on his team to create sets, new clothing concepts and ways to enhance the brand of Forever 21.

In addition to his position at Forever 21, Wootton also creates art designs for windows in Times Square for the New York library and for other special projects.

Wootton enjoyed looking at the Ettrick students’ art portfolios.  He especially loved Mi’Angels quote that was in her portfolio, “Art is not what you see, it is what you imagined.”

Students had lots of questions about how he got to New York City.  He explained that it was a lot of drawing and hard work.

Wootton attended Virginia Commonwealth University where he majored in Graphic Design.
