Chesterfield Historical Society offers Girl Scout workshop

The Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia, (CHSV), in partnership with the Chesterfield County Department of Parks and Recreation, offers badge workshop for Girl Scouts in the month of July, 2014.

The Brownie Scout Celebrating Community Legacy Badge Workshop will be held on Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Chesterfield County Museum, 6813 Mimms Loop.  This workshop covers badge requirements regarding community symbols, meanings of patriotic songs and exploration of historic landmarks at the 1917 Courthouse Green and Museum. Cost is $10 and registration is through the CHSV website at www.chesterfieldhistory.com.
