Dr. Wynne LeGrow, the Democratic nominee for Congress in Virginia’s Fourth Congressional District, recently opened three campaign offices, according to a press release from his campaign. The offices are located in Petersburg, Emporia and Chesapeake.
LeGrow practiced internal medicine and nephrology in Emporia, Va., for 29 years, the release says. Prior to that, he graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and served as a physician in the United States Army. He owned his own business in Emporia before retiring in 2008.
The Fourth Congressional District stretches from Powhatan County in the northwest to the City of Chesapeake in the southeast, the release says. LeGrow will face Republican incumbent U.S. Rep. Randy Forbes in the election.
“Our three offices are strategically placed to reach out to the entire district,” LeGrow for Congress Campaign Manager Antonio Elias says in the release. “We are confident that we can get the message out that Dr. LeGrow is the best choice for Congress this fall.”
LeGrow planned to join volunteers for public opening events at all three offices last weekend, the release says. The Petersburg headquarters at 218 North Sycamore Street was set to open at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 24.
