Police Blotter: January 6, 2010

WOODLAND HILL DR 12/16 An unknown suspect entered the screened porch of a residence.  When the dog barked and the resident turned on a light, the suspect fled on foot.  The victim reported no items stolen.

TROYCOTT PL 12/16 Victim awoke to the sound of the residential alarm going off.  It was then discovered that the basement door was open.  Nothing was taken, which may indicate entry was not gained.

DEERWATER CT 12/16 Victim reported unknown suspect/s attempted to steal fuel from both of her locked vehicles, which were parked in the driveway.

MEADOWDALE BL 12/17 Regency Lake Apartments. A rear sliding glass door was pried from its track and the door glass was broken out. Property was removed.

BRENTWOOD CR 12/17 Entry to a residence was gained via an unlocked rear window and property was removed.

DALEBROOK DR 12/17 B&J Cabinet Co. Suspects used a box cutter to expand a hole that was in a garage door. Once inside, suspects piled up the listed property by the door. Suspects were apprehended before they could leave the premises.

BOLLING AVE 12/21 Victim met the unknown suspect to settle a disagreement over a mutual female acquaintance. During the altercation, the victim was struck in the head with a tire iron.

BRYANWOOD RD 12/18 Chesterfield County. Suspects kicked in the rear door to the victim’s residence and removed property. Officers in the area located the suspects, taking them into custody.

BURNT OAK DR 12/18 Ivywalk Apartments. Victim returned home to find that the suspect/s had forced entry into her locked storage shed attached to her apartment and stolen property. A small hole had been made in the sheetrock from the shed into an interior closet wall in the apartment, but no entry had been gained to the apartment itself.

ENGLISH WELLS WY 12/18 SRC Construction. Unknown suspect/s smashed the window adjacent to the construction office door and reached through to unlock the door. Once inside the office, suspect/s removed property.

DYLANS WALK RD 12/18 Garden Springs Apartments. Glass in the patio door of a model apartment was broken out with a cement block and property was taken.

CALDWELL AVE 12/17 Pry marks were found on a rear door and rear window, but no entry was gained.

COGBILL RD 12/19 Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Two locked vehicles were entered and property was reported stolen.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 12/20 Property was reported stolen from a locked 1997 Chrysler van.

MARTINGALE RD 12/21 Colonial Ridge Apartments. Property was reported stolen from an unlocked blue 1992 Oldsmobile.

COGBILL RD 12/18 An unlocked and running black 2003 Mitsubishi Montero was reported stolen from the victim’s driveway.

MASON AVE 12/21 Chesterfield County. A known suspect entered a residence via an unlocked rear door and removed property.

STRATHMORE RD 12/21 Parkway Garden Apartments. A locked front door to a residence was forced open and property was removed.

WEIR RD 12/19 Verizon-Weir. Entry to an office trailer, located inside a fenced-in lot, was gained via an unlocked rear window. Property was taken from the office and from a work vehicle parked outside.

CHESTERFIELD AVE 12/21 Bates Service Station. A glass pane was removed from a rear window, allowing access to the interior. Once inside, suspect/s knocked out a panel in the wooden door leading to the office area and reached through to unlock the door. Property was removed from the office.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 12/21 All American Construction. A backhoe was removed from a parking lot.

COUGAR TL 12/21 Harrowgate Meadows LLC. Property was removed from the front yard of a house under construction.

GRIST MILL DR 12/21 Meadowbrook Apartments. An unlocked Ford pickup parked at the victim’s residence was entered and property was reported stolen.

IRON BRIDGE PL 12/21 A locked 2004 green Chevrolet SUV was stolen.

IRON BRIDGE RD 12/22 Southside Baptist Church. Bales of hay, located under a pavilion at the rear of the church, were found on fire.

STRATHMORE RD 12/23 Parkway Village Apartments. A known suspect forced open the front door and assaulted one of the victims inside.

REMUDA DR 12/22 Dupont Square Apartments. Property was removed.

CENTRE ST 12/22 Property was reported stolen from the victim’s unlocked white 1998 Hyundai Accent.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 12/22 Property was reported stolen from a Dodge van.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 12/26 Victim became involved in an altercation with three unknown subjects. During the altercation, the victim was pepper sprayed and hit with a beerbottle on the forehead.

GATEBRIDGE RD 12/24 Suspect/s forced entry to the rear pedestrian garage door then through the interior residential door. Multiple items were stolen.

MEADOWDALE BL 12/26 Regency Lake Apartments. Entry was forced to an apartment where a front kitchen window and a rear sliding glass door were both found smashed. Property was stolen.

BURNT OAK TR 12/26 Ivywalk Apartments. Suspect/s entered the victim’s apartment through an unlocked window and removed items from inside.

GAINFORD RD 12/25 A known suspect forced entry to a residential shed, damaging the doorknob.

TEMPLE AVE 12/24 Entry was gained to a residential shed by cutting a lock.

LAUREL RD 12/27 An unknown suspect was seen inside a residence and fled when confronted. Entry was gained through a side window.

CHESTERFIELD AVE 12/27 Unknown suspect/s forced entry to the residence through a basement door, then forced an interior door open. The interior was rummaged through, but nothing appeared to be missing.

MILHORN ST 12/25 Victim reported that weapons were missing from the residence. No signs of forced entry were found.

MEADOWDALE BL 12/26 Regency Lake Apartments. The maintenance shop’s front door was kicked in, but nothing was taken.

PAMS AVE 12/24 LCH Logistics U-Haul & Storage. Suspect was seen dragging a U-Haul trailer down the road. Police were called and located the trailer and suspect. The trailerhad been stolen from the business’ lot.

ORANGE HILL AVE 12/24 Property was reported stolen from the victim’s 1986 Nissan, which was parked at his residence.

TOTTY ST 12/26 A purse was reported stolen from an unlocked white 2002 Mazda, which was parked at the victim’s residence.

HICKORY RD 12/23 Property was reported stolen from the victim’s locked vehicle.

W HARBOUR DR 12/23 A locked white 2003 Ford F150 was entered and property was reported stolen.

MEADOWDALE BL 12/26 Regency Lake Apartments. Two temporary tags were reported stolen from the victim’s black Chevrolet Trailblazer.

GALENA AVE 12/26 An unlocked green 1996 Dodge Avenger was entered and property was reported stolen.

ELOKOMIN AVE 12/24 License plates were reported stolen from the victim’s vehicle.

WHITEPINE RD 12/23 Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation, Verizon South Inc. Unknown suspect/s vandalized a concession stand at the park by smashing a window using a metal trash can. Suspect/s also cut the phone lines and set fire to an object in front of the concession stand.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 12/25 Carneals Trailer Park. An unlocked and running white 1997 Ford Aerostar Van was reported stolen from complainant’s residence.

CRICKLEWOOD DR 12/27 A locked, black 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 was reported stolen from complainant’s residence.

BERMUDA PZ 12/23 Cici’s Pizza. An unknown male suspect entered the unlocked rear door of the business at closing time and displayed a weapon. The suspect held the employees at gunpoint while the manager retrieved the deposit bags. Once the suspect received the bags, he fled the business through the rear door.

MASON RUN DR 12/23 An unknown suspect forcibly entered a residence through the rear door. Once inside, the suspect saw the victims and confronted them at gunpoint. He forced them to the floor while he took property from the residence.

BRIDLE PATH DR 12/24 Victims were in the kitchen when two unknown suspects kicked in the rear door. The suspects were armed with handguns and demanded money and drugs. The suspects searched the residence and eventually left, taking property with them.

FALLING CREEK CR 12/28 Chesterfield County. Unknown suspect/s forced entry to two vacant residences through the rear doors. It was unknown at the time of the report whether anything was missing.

BROADWATER CR 12/28 Broadwater Apartments. Unknown suspect/s gained entry to two vacant townhouses and vandalized the interiors. Additionally, the door to the clubhouse was found open and trash was spread around the floor.
