Police seek men who shot man in attempted robbery

The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs the community’s help to identify and find two men who shot a man while attempting to rob him on Friday, Sept. 24, at about 11:20 p.m.

The suspects approached two men at gunpoint in the 6300 block of Jefferson Davis Highway and attempted to rob them of their cash. During the robbery, a single shot was fired at one of the males. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The suspects fled the area on foot toward Jefferson Davis Highway, and are described as black males in their 20s, wearing all black clothing.
