Help catch suspect who robbed three stores

The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs the community’s help to identify and find a suspect who committed two robberies in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway, and one robbery in the area of Turner Road and Walmsley Boulevard. In all three robberies, a black male entered the store and immediately covered his face with his shirt, approached the clerk, displayed a handgun and robbed the store of cash.

The first robbery occurred at Miller Mart on Turner Road on Monday, May 10, at about 11:30 p.m. The second robbery occurred at Miller Mart on Jefferson Davis Highway on Thursday, Aug. 12, at about 8:30 a.m. The third robbery occurred at Market Place on Jefferson Davis Highway on Friday, Aug. 27, at about 9 p.m.

Anyone with information about any unsolved crime or wanted person in the communities or schools of Chesterfield County or the city of Colonial Heights may call Crime Solvers at 748-0660, submit a tip online at or Text-A-Tip by texting “tip699” plus the tip to 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S). All three methods are anonymous. If a tip helps to solve a crime or catch a fugitive, the person who submitted it could receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.
