Earth moves at Meadowville

Meadowville interchange groundbreaking

A collection of county, state and federal officials took up shovels Monday to break ground at the site of the new Meadowville interchange on Interstate 295. The diamond interchange, which will provide access to the 1,300-acre Meadowville Technology Park, will cost about $11.7 million and should be complete by December 2011. The project will be paid for with $4 million in federal funds, $5 million in state funds, and $2.7 million in local funds.
