Four suspects, one adult and three juveniles, have been arrested and charged in connection with a series of burglaries that began on Oct. 24 in the southern end of the county, according to Chesterfield County Police.

Latrey D. Wingate, 18, of the 7000 block of Mason Run Drive, and the three juveniles are accused of breaking into at least 14 homes. Police said the suspects would break into homes during daytime hours when they thought no one was home, a press release says.

Wingate is charged with burglary, grand larceny and breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony. This investigation is ongoing at this time. Wingate was being held without bond in the Chesterfield County Jail pending a hearing in the Chesterfield County General District Court.
