Owen Wilson receives Eagle honors

Owen J. Wilson, 16, was recently awarded the Eagle Scout badge, the highest youth rank achievable in the Boy Scouts of America. Owen, son of Allen and Laura Wilson of Chester, attends L.C. Bird High School and is a member of Troop 922 of the Bermuda Hundred United Methodist Church. Owen is the grandson of Jim and Dainee Gibson of Orange. Owen is the nephew of Cam and Vicki Gibson and cousin of Cody and Dainee Gibson. On the road to Eagle, Owen earned 32 merit badges, achieved the Order of the Arrow, and held positions of Patrol Leader and Troop Guide.
